Collie Concern Rescue!

We thank you so much for a Good Run.

Due to volunteer attrition, Collie Concern Rescue is closing its doors after 18 years.  Collie Concern Rescue was founded in 1994, but became a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue in 2003.

Collie Concern Rescue has saved approximately 365 animals since becoming a non-profit dog rescue in 2003.

That's one dog for every day of one year, or about 45 dogs per year.

The dogs thank you for helping them.

Please consider helping another Collie rescue!  All of the collie rescues can use your help.  Many of them can use help from volunteers in other states.

The following rescues have DIFFERENT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES than Collie Concern Rescue, Inc., but would love to help you find your next family member.  Please note that these rescues are not affiliated with Collie Concern Rescue, and are not affiliated with each other.  You will have to apply to each of them separately.

The mission of Collie Concern Rescue, Inc is: 

To facilitate the adoption of displaced collies into loving and responsible homes and to provide a good interim quality of life for homeless collies. Our focus is on matchmaking the right collie into the right adoptive home. Collie Concern Rescue seeks to educate the public on responsible dog ownership through mentoring and post-adoption services.

Recipe For A Happy Child

1 grass grown field, one half dozen children (or more), several collies, 1 brook, pebbles.
Method: Into field pour children and collies allowing to mix well. Pour brook over pebbles till slightly frothy. When children are nicely brown, cool in warm tub, when dry, serve with milk, fresh baked bread and cookies.
